How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

An established and growing electrical contractor is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join its team, carrying out high-quality commercial electrical installation, remedial works and testing-related support across London and the South East.

This position would suit an electrician who takes pride in their work, communicates well and enjoys working within professional commercial and high-end environments.

    The Role

    You will be responsible for:

    • Carrying out commercial electrical installation works.

    • Completing small works and remedial projects.

    • Undertaking consumer unit and distribution board works where required.

    • Fault finding and carrying out repairs.

    • Supporting testing and inspection works.

    • Working within offices, commercial buildings, high-end environments and client-facing sites.

    • Ensuring all works are completed safely, neatly and to a high standard.

    • Completing paperwork and job records accurately.

    Requirements

    Essential

    • Level 3 Electrical Qualification or equivalent.

    • 18th Edition qualification.

    • Good knowledge of commercial electrical installation works.

    • Full UK driving licence.

    • Strong communication skills.

    • A professional attitude towards customers, colleagues and site teams.

    • Reliable, organised and able to work independently.

    • Able to produce neat, tidy and high-quality work.

    Desirable

    • 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.

    • IPAF and/or PASMA certification.

    • Experience with commercial testing and remedial works.

    • Experience working in high-end or sensitive client environments.

    • Positive attitude and willingness to develop professionally.

    Package

    • Basic salary up to £50,000 depending on experience.

    • Plenty of overtime available.

    • Realistic earnings of £60,000–£70,000+.

    • Company van and fuel card.

    • Private medical insurance.

    • Medicash health plan.

    • Company pension.

    • Pension support and guidance.

    • Two complimentary financial adviser sessions.

    • Ongoing training and development.

    • Support with further qualifications.

    • Long-term progression opportunities within the business.

    • Supportive management team.

    • High-quality commercial work rather than race-to-the-bottom contracting.

    Why Apply?

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrician looking for long-term stability, strong earning potential and genuine career development.

You'll be joining a business that values quality, supports its engineers and offers a professional environment with high-quality commercial clients.

If you're a professional Electrician looking for a role with excellent benefits, overtime opportunities and realistic earnings of £60,000–£70,000+, we'd like to hear from you
