How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Position: Registered Branch Manager
    Location: Croydon, Surrey
    Salary: £36,000 - £38,500 per annum (DOE)
    Hours: Full time

    CareerMakers is recruiting on behalf of a well-established provider for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a domiciliary care service based in Croydon.
    The successful Registered Branch Manager will be responsible for the overall operational management of the service, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality care in line with CQC standards.

    Responsibilities as a Registered Branch Manager

    * Lead the day-to-day management of the domiciliary care service, ensuring full CQC compliance and high-quality, person-centred care delivery.

    * Oversee care planning, risk assessments, safeguarding, audits, and regulatory requirements to maintain safe and effective service provision.

    * Manage and develop care staff, including recruitment, supervision, training, performance management, and rota planning.

    * Build strong relationships with service users, families, professionals, and stakeholders while overseeing referrals and ensuring smooth service delivery.

    Requirements as a Registered Branch Manager:

    * Experience in a Registered Manager role within domiciliary or adult social care

    * Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory compliance Proven

    * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent) - desirable

    * Experience in dementia, learning disabilities, or mental health services
