How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Job Purpose:

    We are seeking a technically skilled Test Engineer to join our dynamic Agile teams, where you will design and automate test cases, collaborate with developers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

    Principal duties and responsibilities:

    * Developing a deep understanding of the product and system under test.

    * Designing, writing, and maintaining automated and manual test cases.

    * Executing test plans including scripted, exploratory, regression, and integration testing.

    * Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve defects.

    * Participating actively in Agile processes like sprint planning and reviews to ensure quality integration.

    * Evaluating test results, documenting defects, and reporting status to the team.

    Skills and Experience:

    Essential

    * Minimum three years’ experience working as a tester

    * Demonstrable ability to write efficient and effective manual tests

    * A strong interest in the technical side of information technology and software development

    * Working knowledge of Ubuntu or other Linux distributions

    * Use of defect tracking tools (Jira, Xray)

    * Good understanding of API testing

    * Basic networking knowledge

    * Basic understanding of windows infrastructure such as Active directory, Certificate Services.

    * Comfortable using command line tools

    * Debug / troubleshooting skills

    * Excellent communication, both written and verbal

    * STEM degree or similar equivalent qualifications

    Desirable

    * Working knowledge of docker and Kubernetes

    * Knowledge of web security

    * Basic understanding of API automation using python
