How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the Role

    Talented People Recruitment are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established company based in Bristol.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join a vibrant, fast-paced business with a strong reputation and exciting growth plans.

    As a Customer Service Administrator, you’ll ensure all customer orders and related documentation are processed accurately and efficiently. You’ll work closely with Sales Teams, Service Delivery, Aftersales, and Suppliers, maintaining precise records and ensuring smooth communication across departments.

    Your attention to detail will directly support a seamless customer experience as orders progress from quote to delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Manage and update internal order tracking spreadsheets and databases.

    * Use the internal portal for order and service management.

    * Verify order details, finance documents, and specifications before submission to suppliers.

    * Set internal order holds and liaise with Sales Teams to resolve discrepancies.

    * Communicate with suppliers and update internal teams on order progress.

    * Chase order confirmations and source alternatives where necessary.

    * Maintain accurate supplier and order information within the CRM system.

    * Manage the Orders mailbox, ensuring timely and professional responses.

    * Process order switches, amendments, or cancellations as needed.

    Skills & Experience

    * Previous experience in Automotive Administration, Fleet Support, or Customer Service roles.

    * Excellent administrative and Microsoft Office skills.

    * Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.

    * Proven ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

    * Confident communicator, both written and verbal.

    * Experience in a phone-based or customer-facing environment.
