Service Service is recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder Fabricator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Droitwich.
This is a hands-on role working on the fabrication and welding of heavy-duty equipment and commercial vehicle components. The successful candidate will be able to work from detailed engineering drawings and produce high-quality fabrication work to exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* MIG weld and fabricate heavy gauge steel up to 20mm thickness
* Work from engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications
* Operate welding equipment using 1.2mm wire
* Carry out fabrication work to a high standard of quality and accuracy
* Assist with plasma cutting, oxy-acetylene cutting and press brake operations where required
* Ensure work is completed safely and within production deadlines
* Maintain a clean and organised working environment
About You
* Proven experience in MIG welding and fabrication
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience working with heavy fabrication and structural steel
* Previous experience within commercial vehicle manufacturing or a similar engineering environment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Good time management and organisational skills

* Overtime available at enhanced rates
* 40-hour working week - Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
