How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Revit Technician / BIM Coordinator

    Specialist BIM consultancy, diverse project exposure and opportunity to work with the latest digital delivery technologies.

    This opportunity is suited to an experienced Revit Technician or BIM Coordinator looking to further develop their expertise within a growing specialist consultancy. The role offers exposure to a broad range of projects across multiple sectors, working closely with consultants, contractors and design teams to deliver high-quality BIM solutions from design through to construction.

    The successful candidate will join an established digital engineering consultancy providing BIM, CAD and coordination services to clients across the UK construction industry.

    The Role:

    The successful candidate will play a key role in the creation, development and coordination of MEP Revit models across a wide variety of building services projects.

    You will be responsible for producing coordinated models and drawings, supporting BIM delivery and ensuring project information is developed in line with client requirements and industry standards. Working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects from concept through to construction.

    This role requires strong Revit and BIM coordination experience, along with a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical building services systems.
    Key Responsibilities:

    Creating and developing MEP Revit models for building services projects
    Producing coordinated 2D drawings and construction documentation
    Undertaking BIM coordination using Revit and Navisworks.
    Carrying out clash detection exercises and producing coordination reports
    Auditing models and maintaining quality assurance standards
    Working in accordance with client BIM standards and project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs)
    Coordinating with consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams
    Managing project deliverables and ensuring deadlines are achieved
    Assisting with model federation and project coordination meetingsWhat They're Looking For:

    Minimum 3 years' experience using Revit MEP
    Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services
    Experience producing construction-level drawings and documentation
    Experience using Navisworks for BIM coordination and clash detection
    Good understanding of BIM processes, standards and workflows
    Ability to manage workload effectively and work independently
    Strong communication and coordination skillsDesirable Experience:

    Previous experience working for an M&E consultant or contractor
    Knowledge of BIM Level standards and project delivery requirements
    Experience working with point cloud data and Scan-to-BIM workflows
    Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360
    AutoCAD experience
    Understanding of 3D laser scanning and digital twin technologiesWhat's in It for You:
