Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 Per Annum
Role Overview
Our client is a global logistics and supply chain management company, integrating road, air and sea transport services. They have an exciting opportunity for an Export Customs Supervisor to join the team on a full time, permanent basis!
The successful candidate will lead the export customs function during the day shift and will be responsible for overseeing export clearance activities, ensuring compliance, and supporting a team to deliver accurate and timely processing of shipments.
This role is ideal for a confident supervisor who thrives in a structured, fast-moving operational environment. Full customs training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise day-to-day export customs operations
· Ensure export declarations are completed accurately and submitted on time
· Allocate and manage workloads within the export team
· Provide guidance, support, and coaching to team members
· Act as the main escalation point for export queries and issues
· Coordinate with internal departments, carriers, and external stakeholders
· Ensure compliance with export regulations and internal procedures (training provided)
· Maintain accurate records and ensure audit readiness
· Identify and support process improvements within the export function
About You
· Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role
· Strong organisational and communication skills
· Ability to prioritise workload in a high-volume environment
· Calm and effective problem-solver
· Strong attention to detail
· Customs/export experience is advantageous but not essential (training provided)
