How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    1:1 Behaviour Mentor (Full-Time)
    Location: Coalville, Leicestershire
    Salary: £100 - £105 per day
    Contract Type: Full-Time

    Aspire People are recruiting on behalf of one of our valued partner schools in Coalville for a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Behaviour Mentor.

    This is a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate and resilient individual to provide tailored support to a pupil requiring additional behavioural and emotional guidance. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the student engage positively with their education, build confidence, and achieve their full potential within a supportive school environment.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with behavioural needs.
    Implement behaviour support strategies in line with the school's policies and procedures.
    Build positive and trusting relationships with the pupil to encourage engagement and progress.
    Support the pupil both inside and outside of the classroom to promote learning and personal development.
    Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to ensure consistent support.
    Monitor, record, and report on progress, behaviour, and wellbeing.
    Requirements:
    Previous experience working within a UK school setting is essential.
    Experience supporting children with behavioural, emotional, or additional learning needs.
    Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
    Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
    A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
    A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed.
