Shift Pattern: 10-hour shifts with potential weekend overtime
Ambitek are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator to join our client's team in Knowsley. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator with strong workshop experience who is confident working from engineering drawings and producing high-quality fabricated components.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fabricating workshop components to a high standard.
* Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
* Carrying out accurate measuring, marking out, cutting, welding, and assembly work.
* Completing a support bracket fabrication trade test as part of the assessment process.
* Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and workmanship.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Fabricator within a workshop/manufacturing environment.
* Ability to interpret fabrication drawings and carry out accurate layout work.
* Strong understanding of fabrication processes and techniques.
* Must successfully complete a support bracket fabrication trade test.
Working Hours & Pay:
Monday to Friday:
* Standard hours: 8.5 hours Monday–Thursday and 07:30–14:00 Friday.
* Basic rate: £26.25 per hour
Overtime Rates:
* Overtime 1: £36.75 per hour
* Monday–Thursday after 8.5 hours worked.
* Friday after 14:00.
Weekend Overtime:
* Saturday: First 5 hours – £36.75 per hour
* Saturday after 5 hours worked & all day Sunday/Bank Holidays – £47.25 per hour
