How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEN Teacher – Resource Provision
    Harrow | Full-Time | September Start

    Pertemps Education are delighted to be partnering with a wonderful mainstream primary school in Harrow that is seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join their specialist resource provision on a full-time basis.
    This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a small class of just 6–8 pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The successful candidate will benefit from exceptional support, working alongside three dedicated Teaching Assistants and receiving ongoing guidance from a highly supportive Senior Leadership Team.
    The Role
    Teach a small class of 6–8 pupils within the school's specialist provision.
    Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
    Support pupils with varying levels of ASD and ADHD to achieve their academic and personal potential.
    Work collaboratively with a team of three experienced Teaching Assistants.
    Foster a nurturing, structured and inclusive learning environment.
    Liaise with parents, external agencies and the wider SEND team to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.The Ideal Candidate
    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
    Experience working with children with Autism and additional learning needs.
    A patient, nurturing and resilient approach.
    Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
