About the role:
These roles will focus on non-infrastructure water projects delivered within a fast-paced design and build environment. Whether you are based near one of our regional offices or working flexibly, you will join a collaborative team delivering infrastructure that has a direct and lasting impact on communities.
As a Civil Engineer, you will:
* Develop and contribute to the delivery of civil engineering design on water sector projects
* Produce high-quality calculations, technical specifications, and detailed designs
* Collect, analyse, and manage project data
* Coordinate multidisciplinary designs and manage technical interfaces
* Monitor project budgets, programmes, and deliverables to ensure quality outcomes
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Work closely with project managers, engineers, JV partners, and clients
* Review bids, subcontractor designs, and provide on-site technical support
* Support and mentor junior and graduate engineers
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and industry best practice

About you:
If you are looking to work on major AMP8 programmes within a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you. Do you have what it takes?
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
* A degree (BSc or MSc) in Civil Engineering
* Chartered Engineer status, or actively working towards chartership
* Experience in water or wastewater detailed design
* Familiarity with CDM, procurement, and document control
* Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
* A proactive approach to delivery, with a focus on quality and deadlines
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Experience overseeing budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure quality outcomes
