We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the development, automation and ongoing operation of a large-scale core cloud platform within a major UK government environment.
The role will sit within a highly technical cloud engineering function responsible for building secure, resilient and scalable platform services used by multiple digital delivery teams.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable working in complex, security-conscious environments and can contribute quickly within an established cloud platform team.
Key responsibilities
Build, maintain and improve cloud infrastructure within AWS.
Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
Support the deployment and operation of Kubernetes-based platform services.
Create and maintain automation tooling using Python.
Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.Essential experience
Active SC clearance
Strong commercial experience working as a DevOps, Platform or Cloud Engineer.
Deep practical experience with AWS.
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
Strong experience using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working with live, business-critical cloud services

£450.00 - £500.00 per day
