JOB DESCRIPTION – COVER SUPERVISOR

* Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher.

* Deliver pre-set work and instructions provided by teaching staff.

* Ensure students remain focused on their learning and complete assigned tasks.

* Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy.

* Create a positive and productive learning environment.

* Support the school's policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety, and equality and diversity.

* Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

* Undertake break, lunchtime, or corridor supervision duties where required.

* Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

PERSON DETAILS –COVER SUPERVISOR

* Recent Graduate interested in going into teaching or experienced Cover Supervisor

* Good A Levels & GCSEs across the board

* You must be able to engage and motivate the students

* Commitment and ambition to succeed is key throughout
