How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE - ACCEPTING APPLICANTS NATIONWIDE

    About

    Our client delivers exceptional learning experiences that empower people and organisations to lead change with confidence. Their programmes – from Level 4 and 5 Skills Bootcamps to industry-recognised Level 6 Apprenticeships and Bespoke Programmes – focus on innovation, transformation, and commercial leadership.

    They work with ambitious individuals and forward-thinking organisations to make learning simple, impactful, and aligned to real-world change and their approach combines high-impact design, evidence-based methods, and delivery that meets the moment.

    As they enter their next phase of growth they are looking for exceptional Skills Coaches to help support and shape it.

    The Opportunity

    As a Skills Coach you will play a pivotal role in the development and success of apprentices, ensuring their learning is embedded in real-world practice and that they thrive throughout their apprenticeship journey.

    This is a rewarding opportunity to join a dynamic, ambitious and caring team that is passionate about transforming learning experiences.

    You will work closely with learners, employers, and colleagues to deliver personalised coaching, impactful feedback, and meaningful learning interventions that drive both personal and professional growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Learner Coaching & Support: Manage a caseload of apprentices, delivering personalised 1:1 coaching that encourages reflection, application of learning, and professional growth.

    * Assessment & Feedback: Assess project work, assignments, and portfolios through professional discussions and written feedback that is detailed, constructive, and developmentally focused.

    * Progress Monitoring: Conduct regular progress reviews, track learner achievements, and set clear, measurable goals to support learners to succeed - and exceed - expectations.

    * Learning Embedded in Practice: Support learners in applying knowledge and skills directly within their roles, maximising impact and aligning learning with workplace demands.

    * Workshop Facilitation: Support or deliver engaging workshop sessions - both virtually and in person; supporting key elements of the curriculum with contextualised content.

    * E-Portfolio Management: Use learning platforms (e.g., Bud) to document progress, support development, and evidence learning outcomes.

    * Employer Collaboration: Build strong relationships with employers to align learning with organisational goals, ensuring mutual benefit and ongoing engagement.

    * Safeguarding & Compliance: Promote learner safety and well-being, upholding Prevent and safeguarding responsibilities in line with Ofsted and DfE standards.

    * Impact & Value Add: Identify opportunities to stretch and challenge learners, champion their development, and provide insights that drive programme and learner success.

    * Continuous Improvement: Feed into curriculum and delivery improvements by sharing learner insights and advocating for innovation in teaching and learning approaches.

    About You

    They are looking for someone who:

    * Brings recent and relevant industry experience, ideally in either Service Design, Leadership and Management, Team Leader, Project Management, Business Analyst or innovation.

    * Is an experienced apprenticeship coach with a track record of supporting high levels of learner achievement.

    * Is an outstanding communicator, motivator, and mentor – able to engage learners at various stages of their careers.

    * Understands the apprenticeship landscape, including Ofsted and DfE requirements.

    * Thrives in a learner-focused, impact-driven environment and is tech-savvy.

    * Is proactive and organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

    * Brings a solutions-focused, collaborative mindset that aligns with the company values.

    Your Experience & Knowledge

    * Essential:

    * Experience coaching apprentices within a UK-based training provider.

    * Strong understanding of e-portfolios and digital learning tools.

    * Demonstrated ability to support learners to embed knowledge in practice and make a measurable impact in their roles.

    * Recognised teaching qualification (AET/CET/DET/PGCE).

    * Assessor qualification (A1/CAVA).

    * Relevant industry experience and qualification at Level 6 or above.

    * Familiarity with apprenticeship standards and assessment practices.

    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    * IQA qualification (L4 IQA) – desirable.

    * Maths and English at Level 2 or equivalent.

    Location & Working Arrangements

    This role offers flexible working arrangements. You can opt for a hybrid setup with 1-2 days per week in our Central London office or work fully remotely in the UK
