How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Early Years Practitioner - Birmingham (Level 3 Qualified)

    Pay: £16 per hour
    Location: Birmingham

    We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive early years setting in Birmingham.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children's development during their most important early learning stages.

    Role Overview

    You will be working as part of a friendly nursery team, supporting children aged 0-5 in line with the EYFS framework. Your role will include planning and delivering engaging activities, supporting learning through play, and ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

    Key Responsibilities
    Deliver high-quality care and education in line with EYFS
    Support children's learning and development through play-based activities
    Observe, assess, and record children's progress
    Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers
    Support children with additional needs where required
    Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment
    Requirements
    Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)
    Health and Social Care qualification (essential)
    Previous experience in an early years setting
    Strong understanding of safeguarding and EYFS
    Caring, patient, and professional approach
