How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The UK division includes a specialist engineering and manufacturing facility focused on water treatment systems, used to:

    Protect marine and offshore assets
    Prevent biofouling in pipelines and cooling systems
    The Opportunity

    Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, we are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering team.

    This is a key role responsible for delivering engineering projects from initial design through to commissioning, ensuring all technical, commercial, and quality objectives are met.

    You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including design, electrical, manufacturing, and project management, as well as liaising directly with clients and suppliers.

    Key Responsibilities

    Manage engineering projects from award through to completion and handover
    Interpret client specifications and translate into engineering deliverables and system designs
    Oversee and coordinate technical design activities
    Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, controls)
    Act as a key point of contact for clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
    Resolve technical issues during manufacturing, site installation, and commissioning
    Ensure compliance with:

    ISO 9001 quality standards
    Health & safety and CDM regulations

    Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
    Key Requirements

    Essential

    HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering
    Ability to interpret complex technical documentation and specifications
    Excellent communication skills, including client-facing experience
    Strong organisational and problem-solving ability
    Salary & Benefits

    £40,000 – £48,000 depending on experience

    Hybrid working (2 days remote)
    Flexible working hours (core hours 10:00–15:30)
