Escape Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a leading engineering organisation operating within critical power and specialist equipment solutions.

This is a customer-facing role supporting equipment across a regional territory, carrying out servicing, maintenance, breakdown response, fault-finding and commissioning activities.

The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role working across multiple customer sites and engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain and repair diesel-powered equipment
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
Respond to equipment breakdowns
Carry out commissioning and decommissioning activities
Complete technical reports and service documentation
Support planned maintenance programmes
Deliver high levels of customer service
Participate in the on-call rota

What We're Looking For

Strong mechanical engineering background
Electrical fault-finding capability
Diesel engine experience
Experience working independently
Engineering qualification or apprenticeship preferred
Full UK driving licence
Comfortable travelling throughout the region
Willingness to undertake offshore training when required
