Gas Engineer

An opportunity has become available for a Gas Engineer to join a Local Authority Housing Repairs team on a temp-to-perm basis. The role involves carrying out repairs, servicing and installations within void and tenanted properties across South Shields and South Tyneside.

Key Responsibilities
 
Carry out gas servicing, repairs and installations.
Undertake maintenance work within void and occupied properties.
Ensure work is completed safely and to required standards.
Cover properties throughout South Shields and South Tyneside.
Deliver a professional service to tenants and residents.

Requirements
 
Domestic Gas ACS Qualifications.
Previous experience carrying out domestic gas repairs and maintenance.
Experience working within occupied and void properties.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Salary & Benefits
 
£20.00 Ltd per hour (PAYE equivalent £17.16 per hour).
Temp to Perm opportunity.
37 hours per week.
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm.
Holiday allowance.
Sociable working hours.
Overtime available.
