We're working with a variety of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across Huntingdon and wider Cambridgeshire, helping them find dedicated Secondary Supply Teachers for both day to day cover and long term placements.
One week, you could be introducing students to the wonders of Science. The next, encouraging lively debate in a Humanities lesson or guiding pupils through key GCSE topics. Every day brings something different, but the reward remains the same - helping young people succeed.
The Role
As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging lessons across your subject specialism or general cover requirements
Follow school policies and maintain positive behaviour expectations
Adapt quickly to different school environments
Create an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere
Ensure continuity of learning during staff absences
Build positive relationships with students and colleagues
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching within UK secondary schools
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Confidence working with students across Key Stages 3 and 4
A flexible, professional and positive attitude
A genuine passion for teaching and education
