How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you passionate about helping people rebuild their lives through recovery, housing stability, and community reintegration?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recovery Resettlement Practitioner (Housing Specialism) to join our dedicated Recovery Housing Team in Kent, working 35 hours per week on a full-time basis.

Available due to an internal promotion, this role offers the chance to become part of a supportive and ambitious service that is committed to helping individuals rebuild their lives through recovery, stable housing, and successful community reintegration.

Working with people in recovery, including those with complex needs and criminal justice involvement, you will provide tailored housing and resettlement support, helping clients secure accommodation, sustain tenancies, and achieve positive long-term outcomes.

Maintaining accurate case records, care plans and service documentation
    What we're looking for:

Experience supporting vulnerable adults with housing, homelessness or tenancy sustainment needs
Knowledge of recovery-focused practice, substance misuse and trauma-informed approaches
Understanding of the Criminal Justice System and the challenges faced by people in recovery
Experience managing caseloads, conducting assessments and developing action plans
    Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Excellent organisation, record-keeping and IT skills
You'll be joining a passionate team that puts people at the heart of everything it does. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference while developing your own skills and career within an organisation committed to recovery, inclusion and lasting change.

Ready to help people build brighter futures? We'd love to hear from you.
