How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Inbound Sales / Customer Service Executive - Contact Centre

    Join a leading Northamptonshire-based contact centre as an Inbound Sales / Customer Service Executive. Offering a permanent role with a salary of £25,647 plus a highly achievable commission, this position combines customer service and sales elements. After initial training, enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working—with only one day per week in the office.

    Work on a rotating shift basis answering inbound calls from new and existing customers, handling enquiries about renewals or business opportunities. Your role is critical in setting high standards within the company's centre of excellence, requiring compliance, strong empathy, and excellent listening skills. Due to the nature of the calls, compliance is paramount as well as strong empathy skills. Although this is an inbound role, there is an element of sales as you will be targeted on conversions with a commission structure in place to win strong performers. 

    Main Responsibilities

    Answering inbound calls, delivering a first class service to customers.

    Ensuring compliance is maintained on each call.

    Using your questioning and listening skills to delve deeper into more complex issues.

    Accurately capturing data on to the in house CRM system.

    Representing the company at the highest level at all times.

    Ideally, you will possess some or all of the following.

    Previous experience in a sales or customer service role.

    Strong attention to detail.

    Excellent listening and questioning skills.

    Polite telephone manner
