How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

At CV-Library, we have a simple vision: to help the world to work and we are looking for exceptional and talented people to help us realise this vision in both UK and overseas markets.
We are in a period of focused internal investment, following a year of key strategic acquisitions and significant investment across all parts of the business from Tech and Data to People and HR, there's never been a more exciting time to join us or a better place to grow your career!
    The Role
    Hours: Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:30
    Location: Fleet, Hampshire
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week on site
We're looking for a talented and commercially-minded UX & Graphic Designer to help shape the experience of millions of job seekers while supporting our wider marketing and brand activity.
This is a hybrid role, combining UX design with creative graphic design. Around 60% of your time will be focused on improving onsite and app-based user experiences through UX enhancements, conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and new feature design. The remaining 40% will support the design and delivery of marketing campaigns, digital assets and offline creative materials.
You'll play a key role in improving how candidates discover jobs, register, apply and engage with our service across web and mobile experiences, while also helping bring our brand to life through impactful creative work.
You'll be part of a team of UX and graphic designers, working at pace to deliver improved experiences. This is a role that is tilted toward delivery - if you thrive at rolling up your sleeves and cracking on with designs that make a difference, this is the job for you.
What your day will look like:
    * Own and deliver a prioritised roadmap of UX and conversion optimisation improvements across web and mobile
    * Design user-centred experiences that improve engagement, conversion and overall satisfaction
    * Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data and stakeholders to define and deliver solutions
    * Produce wireframes, user flows, prototypes and high-fidelity designs using Figma
    * Design responsive experiences across desktop, web and native mobile platforms
    * Ensure consistency across the end-to-end customer journey and key touchpoints
    * Use user testing, analytics, UAT feedback and insights to identify optimisation opportunities
    * Support and evaluate A/B and multivariate testing to drive continuous improvement
    * Apply UX best practice, accessibility standards and CRO principles across all work
    * Contribute to scalable design systems, patterns and reusable components
    * Create high-quality marketing and campaign assets across digital and offline channels (e.g. paid, social, email, sales collateral)
    * Translate briefs into effective, on-brand creative solutions aligned to audience needs and commercial objectives, working collaboratively across teams
    What we're looking for:
    * 3+ years' experience in UX, UI or digital design roles
    * Strong understanding of UX principles, information architecture and interaction design
    * Experience designing for responsive websites and mobile applications
    * Proven ability to deliver conversion-focused design improvements
    * Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and experimentation frameworks
    * Strong visual design skills with excellent attention to detail
    * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-moving environment
    * Strong communication skills and confidence presenting design rationale to stakeholders
    * Commercial awareness and an understanding of how design contributes to business outcomes
    Design Tools
    * Figma
    * Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
    * Experience with prototyping tools and design systems
    * Familiarity with analytics, heatmapping and experimentation tools such as GA4 and Posthog
We are actively committed to promoting a fully diverse and inclusive workforce and we welcome applications for this role from all candidates who meet the key requirements. Please do not hesitate to get in touch should you require any reasonable adjustments to assist with your application
