Prince Personnel are working with a well-established business based in Church Stretton. Due to a retirement, they are looking to recruit for an Accounts Assistant on a permanent contract. The role is 60% purchase ledger and 40% other accounts related tasks. You will be joining a small accounts team.
Duties will include:
* Processing purchase ledger invoices
* Matching and batching invoices
* Arranging payment runs
* Bank reconciliations
* Resolving queries on both sales and purchase ledger
* Taking orders
* Being the main contact for a complicated account with multiple delivery sites
* Setting up new accounts
* Maintenance of direct debits
* Allocation cash to client accounts
* Issue customer statements monthly or as required by customers
* Manage and maintain customer credit limits
* Chasing debt
* Managing 3rd party providers invoices
* Answering incoming phone calls.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar role. Due to the rural location of the business you will also need your own transport.
