CAD Technician

Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a CAD Technician to join our innovative site construction team. This is a site-based role supporting the delivery of a major civil engineering infrastructure project.

Working closely with engineers and project teams, you will play a key role in producing accurate drawings and supporting ongoing site operations.

What you will be doing:

Developing Concept Designs.

Liaising with other team members.

Reviewing and altering construction models

Producing sketches and AutoCAD drawings for construction / temporary works proposals.

Reviewing and developing as built construction information to be issued to clients.

Drone activities, processing of imagery and point clouds

What you will bring:

Strong background in practical problem solving.

Sound understanding of civil engineering principles

Degree (BEng) or similar college qualifications in civil engineering, not essential.

Good interpersonal and organizational skills

Good knowledge of AutoCAD, BricsCAD, (Civils 3D / N4orce- Optional)

Knowledge of Revit, or Tekla an advantage, but not necessary

Good understanding of computer systems, IT, general software
