Traffic Marshal/ Vehicle Banksmen

Description
Careys are recruiting experienced Traffic Marshals / Vehicle Banksmen to join our team on a major civil engineering project in Sheffield (S9).
You will support site logistics, vehicle movements and pedestrian safety on a large-scale industrial civils project.
Key Responsibilities

Safely direct and control the movement of vehicles, plant and deliveries across the site.

Guide HGVs and construction plant using recognised vehicle banksman signals and procedures.

Maintain pedestrian segregation and ensure safe access routes are always in place.

Monitor site access and egress points, ensuring all vehicle movements comply with site traffic management plans.

Work closely with logistics teams, site management and operatives to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Banksman Qualification

CSCS Card

Previous construction or civil engineering experience

Strong awareness of site safety requirements
Desirable:

Major infrastructure projects

Logistics compounds

First Aid

Safety Critical Medical
