Groundworker/Dumper Driver

Description
Careys are recruiting experienced Groundworkers / Dumper Drivers to join our team on a major civil engineering project in Sheffield (S9).
You will support earthworks, drainage, reinforced concrete works, roads and infrastructure construction.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out general groundworks activities including drainage, ducting, foundations and concrete preparation works.

Operate forward tipping dumpers safely and efficiently in accordance with site requirements and safety procedures.

Assist with earthworks, excavation support and the installation of underground services.

Work from drawings and instructions to complete works to the required specification and programme.

Maintain high standards of health, safety and housekeeping while supporting the delivery of major civil engineering works.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

CSCS Card

CPCS or NPORS Dumper Qualification

Proven experience in civil engineering groundworks

Experience with drainage and ducting works
Desirable:

Forward Tipping Dumper

Ride on Roller

Excavator

Deep drainage

Reinforced concrete structures
