How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Children's Homes Team Leader

    Locations: Hinckley, Leicestershire & Darlington, County Durham
    Salary: £39,680 – £46,944 per annum (assuming good attendance and up to 3 sleep-ins per month)

    SEND Inclusion Support is recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of specialist residential childcare services.

    We currently have Team Leader opportunities available in both Hinckley and Darlington.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced residential childcare professional to take the next step in their leadership career while making a meaningful impact on the lives of young people.

    The Role

    As Team Leader, you will:

    * Support the day-to-day running of the home

    * Lead and mentor Residential Support Workers

    * Build strong relationships with young people

    * Promote safeguarding and high-quality care standards

    * Support behaviour management and care planning

    * Deputise for senior managers when required

    What We OfferSalary & Earnings

    * Base salary: £35,400 – £42,664

    * Up to 3 sleep-ins per month (£80 per sleep)

    * Attendance allowance up to £1,400 per year
