How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Electrical Shift Leader

    The shift rota is a 4 on 4 off, days ( (Apply online only)) & nights ( 1900 – 0700) , of 12 hours shifts.

    Paying 55,000- £59,000 (HVAP)

    Job Purpose

    Reporting to the Contract Manager you will be working within the engineering maintenance team. You will provide all round engineering support maintaining the buildings infrastructures. You will have a detailed understanding of all new or current Building Services systems and contingency procedures within the buildings and complying with the Health & Safety/building codes of practice.

    With the nature of our client’s business and continued up time being a priority, means essential maintenance may need to be carried outside of normal hours and therefore an organised approach to work is essential.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    * Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.

    * Take lead on ensuring all PPM tasks are carried out on time.

    * Provide a reactive and proactive maintenance service.

    * Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service, which covers electrical and mechanical disciplines.

    * Provide a service that ensures all mechanical and electrical equipment is running to optimum performance using data analytical platforms such as Demand Logic

    * Provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met.

    * Carry out modifications and installations when required.

    * Liaise with sub-contractors and external suppliers.

    * Take ownership of tools and equipment provided and ensure they are maintained to an appropriate standard.

    * Liaise with client/management.

    Qualifications

    * NVQ Lvel 3 in Electrical or Mechanical

    * 18th Edition

    * HVAP Desirable
