How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced TIG Welder & Sheet Metal Worker to join their skilled manufacturing team.     Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08:00 16:30

    The Role
    As a TIG Welder & Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding high-quality stainless steel and mild steel components, ensuring all work meets exacting quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    TIG welding stainless steel and mild steel components.
    Producing high quality welds on materials at 1.5mm thickness - essential
    Fabricating sheet metal components from engineering drawings.
    Metal polishing and finishing to a high cosmetic standard.
    Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
    Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet customer expectations.
    Maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
    Working closely with colleagues to achieve production targets.
    Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing process.
    Skills / Experience required:

    Proven TIG welding experience
    Experience welding thin-gauge materials at 1.5mm thickness - essential
    Sheet metal fabrication experience
    Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
    Excellent attention to detail
    Strong commitment to quality and safety
    Experience polishing and finishing stainless steel products
