How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    ANZUK Education urgently require teachers for Secondary Schools across the Medway Towns and surrounding areas.

    With the staffing demands most schools are facing, ANZUK education are looking for teachers, on short and long terms basis across the Medway area, who are committed to providing an engaging learning environment where every child can thrive academically and personally. We are seeking Secondary Teachers for general cover and STEM subjects across a range of schools.

    Job: Secondary Teachers

    Subject: General Cover & STEM Subjects
    Location: Medway (Chatham, Rochester & Gillingham)
    Pay Range: £140 – £170 per day (depending on experience)
    Contract Type: Supply
    Hours: 08:15 – 15:30
    Start Date: September 2026

    The ideal Supply Teacher will:

    * Be punctual, organised, and reliable

    * Demonstrate flexibility and availability (1–5 days per week)

    * Adapt confidently to a range of teaching methods and learning tools

    * Build positive relationships with staff, students, and parents

    * Maintain high professional standards at all times

    * Follow school behaviour management policies effectively

    * Uphold excellent communication and conduct standards

    * Be open to giving and receiving constructive feedback

    * Hold relevant teaching qualifications (e.g. QTS or equivalent)

    * Have valid UK right to work
