Our client is a well-established and highly regarded legal practice with a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional client service. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated and organised Legal Secretary / Paralegal to join their Conveyancing team.

The Opportunity
Working alongside an experienced Conveyancing team, the successful candidate will provide essential support across a varied caseload and assist with the day-to-day progression of property matters. This role would suit someone who is proactive, organised and eager to develop their knowledge and experience within a busy legal environment.
The position offers excellent exposure across the conveyancing process, with potential for greater responsibility and progression over time.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support to fee earners and the wider Conveyancing team on a range of residential property matters
Assist with the conveyancing process from instruction through to post-completion work
Carry out administrative tasks including filing, handling post, opening and closing files, and maintaining accurate records on the case management system
Complete online searches, applications and documentation through systems such as HM Land Registry
Prepare draft documents, invoices and client correspondence
Deal with client enquiries and provide updates wherever possible
Assist with incoming and outgoing telephone calls and liaise with third parties where required
Support fee earners in progressing matters proactively and efficiently
Opportunity to manage a small caseload under supervision as experience develops
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants should possess:
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Paralegal or within a similar legal support role
Basic knowledge of the conveyancing process, including post-completion procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational abilities with exceptional attention to detail
The ability to manage workload effectively with minimal supervision
Excellent client care skills and a professional approach
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to work well under pressure
