Are you an experienced Project Manager who thrives on bringing structure, governance and momentum to complex engineering projects?
We're looking for a hands-on Project Manager to join a leading recycling operation, taking ownership of a portfolio of engineering and operational improvement initiatives. This is an opportunity to step into a high-visibility role where your expertise will directly influence project success and operational performance.
What You'll Be Doing
Your initial focus will be a significant upgrade project, where you'll assess project readiness, identify delivery gaps and implement robust plans to ensure successful execution. You'll also have the opportunity to support additional projects including Bailer, Weighbridge and Dust Suppression improvements.
You'll:
Lead project readiness reviews and gap assessments
Establish effective governance and stage-gate controls
Build and maintain project plans and action trackers
Coordinate stakeholders across multiple teams
Monitor risks, issues and project dependencies
Deliver clear reporting and management updates
Drive projects from concept through to successful completion
What We're Looking For
You'll bring:
Proven project management experience within engineering, manufacturing, operational or capital project environments
Strong knowledge of project governance, controls and stage-gate methodologies
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
The ability to work independently while embedded within a client environment
A track record of identifying risks and delivering successful outcomes

Salary description
£40.00 - £45.00 per hour
