Job Title – Associate Product Manager

We have a new opportunity for an Associate Product Manager to join our clients product team and help take customer-focused products and services to new heights.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a technical field, such as software/hardware product development or engineering and the ability to evaluate and analyse complex information.
The successful candidate will have a natural desire to help people understand things that are hard to understand.
This role requires a meticulous and innovative approach to product management, ensuring that both new and existing products align with broader company objectives and market needs.
Key Duties
• Develop comprehensive and accessible documentation that meets organizational standards aligned to our branding guidelines
• Cross-functional collaboration - act as a pragmatic bridge between marketing, sales, development and operations.
• Build a deep understanding of company products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content.
• Demonstrable ability in managing product life cycles and driving product initiatives. Proficient in thoroughly documenting Epics, Stories, Tasks, articulating user stories, user motivation and success criteria. Ideally, experienced in conducting refinements and retrospectives.
• Analytical and Strategic Skills – comfortable analysing data and trends to provide actionable insights, supporting the strategic decisions of the Head of Product Management & Marketing.
• Demonstrable ability with typical Product toolset such as Atlassian suite, Figma, DataDog, Miro, Trello, PowerBI/Tableau, O365. Knowledge of HCM / ERP is desirable.
• Research and gathering information using various methods, reading existing or new documentation, competitor analysis and gathering information from the wider team
• Write user-friendly content that meets the target audience's needs, turning insights into language that sets up our customers for success
• Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, accessibility, UX and design specifications
• Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement
• Assist the product and development teams on UI design and usability
• Responding to qualified ad-hoc requests from customer-facing staff in a timely manner.
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications
• The person will have a proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with a demonstrable talent for stringent prioritization.
• The person will have a competent understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC), including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• The person will be an adept in learning digital systems and adopting new technology.
• The person will have demonstrable experience using the likes of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office 365, knowledge bases, Atlassian suite and ideally XML tools to create documentation. Experience with Figma is desirable.
• The person will have a solid technical background, ideally both academic and experiential.
• The person will have strong relationship building and communication skills.
• The person will have excellent time management and effectively retains and applies knowledge across multiple projects.
• The person will exhibit attention to detail whilst recognising the importance of delivery to time, cost and quality
