How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

As part of continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Graduate Airworthiness & Certification Engineer to join their Office of Airworthiness based in Wimborne, Dorset.

    The Opportunity
    As a Graduate Airworthiness & Certification Engineer, you'll support the certification, compliance and airworthiness activities associated with advanced aerospace products and systems. Working alongside experienced Airworthiness, Design, Systems Safety and Certification Engineers, you'll develop an understanding of the regulatory frameworks, processes and engineering disciplines that ensure aerospace products meet the highest standards of safety and compliance. From day one, you'll be involved in real engineering projects and have the opportunity to contribute to the development of products supporting critical aerospace and defence capability worldwide.
    What You'll Be Doing
    * Supporting airworthiness and certification activities across aerospace programmes
    * Assisting with the preparation and review of certification documentation
    * Learning how aerospace products are certified against regulatory requirements
    * Supporting compliance activities relating to product design, modification and repair
    * Working closely with Design, Systems Safety and Engineering teams
    * Assisting with audits, inspections and compliance reviews
    * Maintaining certification records and technical documentation
    * Developing knowledge of aerospace regulations and approval frameworks
    * Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Office of Airworthiness
    * Building an understanding of Design Assurance and Systems Safety principles
    What We're Looking For
    We're keen to hear from graduates who are passionate about aerospace engineering and excited by the opportunity to develop a career within certification, compliance and airworthiness. Essential
    * Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related engineering discipline
    * Strong interest in aerospace certification, compliance or airworthiness
    * Excellent communication and organisational skills
    * Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
    * Close attention to detail
    * Ability to work effectively as part of a team
    * A proactive approach to learning and professional development
    Desirable
    * Placement year, internship or industry experience within aerospace or defence
    * Knowledge of EASA, UK CAA or UK MAA regulatory frameworks
    * Understanding of Systems Engineering or Systems Safety principles
    * Exposure to aerospace projects during university studies
