How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

SEN Teaching Assistant (ASD Focus) – EYFS

Primary School in Camden, North London

Think Education Partners is supporting a welcoming, inclusive primary school in the heart of Kings Cross, Camden, to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with a strong focus on supporting children with autism (ASD) in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

If you are passionate about early communication, sensory‑informed practice and helping young learners build confidence and independence, this role offers a genuinely rewarding opportunity.

    About the role

You will work closely with the EYFS class teacher and SENCO to provide autism‑specific, high‑quality support to children in Nursery and Reception, including those with EHCPs.

    Key responsibilities include:

    * Providing 1:1 and small‑group support for children with ASD, following EHCPs and SEND support plans

    * Supporting children’s communication, social interaction, emotional regulation and sensory needs

    * Using structured approaches such as visual timetables, now/next boards, TEACCH‑informed routines and sensory regulation strategies

    * Recording observations and contributing to EHCP reviews and multi‑agency meetings

    * Building positive, trusting relationships with children and families

    * Helping to create a predictable, nurturing and autism‑friendly EYFS environment that supports engagement and independence

    Essential requirements

    * Experience supporting children with ASD or other SEND needs, ideally in EYFS or primary

    * Understanding of early child development, sensory processing and communication differences

    * Awareness of EHCPs and the SEND Code of Practice

    * A calm, patient and child‑centred approach

    * GCSE English and Maths (grade C/4 or above)

    * NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in childcare, education or SEN

At Think Education Partners, we pride ourselves on supporting both our schools and our candidates with care, clarity and consistency.

When you join us, you can expect:

    * A dedicated consultant who knows your strengths and advocates for you

    * Access to exclusive roles across London schools that match your experience and goals

    * Weekly pay, processed smoothly and reliably

    * Free access to CPD, SEN training and professional development

    * Clear communication, honest feedback and a genuinely supportive approach

    * A warm, community‑focused agency that values long‑term relationships over volume

Apply today if you have what is takes to make a difference in an early years setting. If this role is not suitable for you and you are looking for a new job for September 2026, please reach out to Niri Stewart at Think Education Partners.
