Pure are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a growing business based in Sudbury on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of core finance processes while working within a supportive and collaborative team.
After an initial onboarding period (approximately one month in the office), hybrid working will be available.
Key Responsibilities
Managing both sales and purchase ledgers
Performing bank reconciliations on a regular basis
Completing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring accuracy
Investigating and resolving discrepancies
Supporting month-end processes
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
Assisting with general bookkeeping and finance duties as requiredAbout You
Previous experience in a Bookkeeping or Finance Assistant role
Strong understanding of ledger management and reconciliations
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Confident using accounting software and Excel
Able to work independently and manage workload effectivelyThis role is based in Sudbury, so candidates will need to be able to commute during the initial training period.
