About the Role
Driver Hire Colchester is currently looking for an experienced Class 2 MOFFETT HGV Driver to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver who is reliable, safety-conscious, and confident operating a vehicle-mounted forklift (Moffett).
You will be responsible for delivering goods to customers across East Anglia, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Driving a Class 2 (Category C) HGV vehicle
* Operating a Moffett (truck-mounted forklift) to load and unload goods
* Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness
* Delivering goods safely and efficiently to customer sites
* Completing delivery paperwork accurately
* Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
* Adhering to all health & safety and driving regulations
Requirements
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence ( min 12 months)
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Moffett licence/certification
* Min 21 years old
* Previous experience in a similar role preferred
* Good knowledge of UK driving laws and regulations
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
