How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Experience producing detailed electrical, control and instrumentation design packages
Strong understanding of relevant BS EN, IEC and industry standards
Knowledge of engineering design processes, calculations and technical documentation
    Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
HNC, HND or Degree in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline

    Desirable Experience

Previous experience working on Sellafield projects or within the UK nuclear industry
Familiarity with nuclear design substantiation and engineering assurance processes
Experience supporting projects from concept through to installation and commissioning
Current SC Clearance, or the ability to obtain clearance

    What's on Offer?

    ? £46-£51 per hour - Inside IR35
? Long-term contract with excellent extension potential
? Work on one of the UK's flagship nuclear programmes
? Be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary engineering team
? Deliver technically challenging projects that contribute to critical national infrastructure
? Gain invaluable experience within one of Europe's most complex engineering environments
If you're a CE&I Design Engineer looking for your next contract on a major nuclear programme, this is your opportunity to work on industry-leading projects with real national significance.
