How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The HR Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the human resources function within the transport & distribution industry. This position, based in Coventry, involves coordinating HR processes and ensuring smooth operations within the department.

They are committed to fostering a productive and organised workplace. They are now seeking a HR Coordinator to join them at their site in Coventry, working on a 12-Month fixed term contract basis.

    Description

    Coordinate day-to-day HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
    Maintain and update HR records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
    Support payroll processes by providing accurate and timely information to the payroll team.
    Assist in organising training sessions and development programmes for employees.
    Provide first-line support for HR-related queries and escalate issues when necessary.
    Prepare and distribute HR-related documentation, including contracts and policy updates.
    Collaborate with various teams to ensure the smooth implementation of HR initiatives.
    Support the HR department in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.Profile

    A successful HR Coordinator should have:

    Previous experience in an HR-related role within the transport & distribution industry or a similar sector.
    CIPD Level 3 qualification or above.
    A strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
    Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail.
    Proficiency in using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
    Effective communication skills to liaise with employees and stakeholders.
