This is a site-based role where the Electrical Site Manager will play a key part in delivering critical electrical works across complex energy projects. The successful Electrical Site Manager will be responsible for managing site activity, ensuring programme targets are met, and maintaining the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day duties as an Electrical Site Manager within a live substation environment
• Supervise subcontractors delivering HV electrical installation works
• Ensure all activities are carried out safely and in line with programme requirements
• Coordinate with project engineers, commissioning teams, and civils teams
• Review RAMS and ensure full compliance with HSE standards
• Support installation through to commissioning and energisation
Requirements:
• Proven experience working as an Electrical Site Manager on HV projects (132kV+)
• Background in substation, transmission, or grid infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of site safety, permits, and electrical procedures
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
Desirable:
• SMSTS / SSSTS
• Previous experience working under National Grid or DNO frameworks
• AP or SAP exposure (advantageous but not essential)
