Site Supervisor

FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist engineering provider for an experienced Site Supervisor to join their installation team.

Location: UK wide (with travel across the UK, Ireland & Europe) - on-site

Ideal Location is Rossendale area & surrounding but must be happy to travel UK wide.

SiteSupervisor Responsibilities

* Oversee and coordinate mechanical installation activities on client sites

* Interpret and work from installation drawings to ensure accurate installation

* Set out, position, and level pipework systems and fabricated components onto existing structures

* Supervise site teams to ensure installation milestones are achieved on programme

* Ensure compliance with company procedures, site rules, and statutory requirements

* Liaise with clients, project engineers, production teams, and installation coordinators to manage delivery, offloading, and installation schedules

* Attend site and client meetings as required

* Monitor installation quality, ensuring all work is completed within required tolerances

* Produce progress reports for Project Engineers

* Carry out inspections, snagging, and handover to client representatives

* Complete and maintain accurate ITPs, test certificates, and mechanical inspection records

* Ensure all equipment and hired plant is maintained and certified in line with company and site procedures

* Deliver toolbox talks and promote a strong health and safety culture

* Ensure full compliance with RAMS, lift plans, and safe systems of work

* Work across varied environments including wastewater and industrial sites

* Maintain high installation standards at all times

* Report any safety concerns or non-compliance issues

Site Supervisor Requirements

* Time-served City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline

* SSSTS certification (essential)

* CSCS Gold Card

* Installation-related skill cards (multi-discipline experience preferred)

* Minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical pipe fitting or similar systems

* Proven supervisory experience within mechanical installation or pipefitting environments

* Strong ability to read and interpret technical installation drawings

* Experience working in industrial, water, or wastewater environments

* Ability to lead teams and deliver work safely and efficiently to programme deadlines
