How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    HGV Class 2 Driver

    Location: L34
    Pay: £16ph + Night out @ £50 per night & £200pw expenses
    Shifts: 6am - 7am starts (tramping 2-3 nights per week)

    - Tramping involved 1 in 3 weeks nights out option for more
    - Transport goods over local or long-distance routes
    - Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
    - Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
    - Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving
    - Comply with truck driving rules and regulations

    Qualifications:
    - 6+ Months Class 2 HGV CAT C entitlement
    - Valid CPC and Tachograph Card
    - Extensive knowledge of applicable HGV driving rules and regulations
    - No more than 6 points for MINOR offences - None of the following can be accepted: DD,DG,IN,CD,TT.
    - Good customer service skills as you will be customer facing at the point of delivery
    - Nice-to-have skills: Experience as a Class 2 HGV driver, familiarity with flatbed trucks and curtain side trucks.
