How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    CNC Turner Supervisor £40,000 - £45,000 + Industry-Leading Supervision Training + Days-Based Role + Long-Term Progression + Excellent Company Benefits Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire (Commutable from: Airdrie, Bargeddie, Glenmavis, Bellshill, Cumbernauld, Cambuslang, Holytown, Motherwell, Glasgow, etc) Are you an experienced CNC Turner looking to take the next step into a supervisory role with a stable, growing manufacturer offering long-term progression and further technical development? This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Turner to step up into a Working Supervisor position, where you will be given industry-leading training in supervision and leadership while continuing to develop technically within a well-established precision engineering environment. The company are a highly regarded engineering manufacturer supplying specialist components across a range of industries. Due to continued investment, growth and expansion within their machining department, they are now looking to appoint a CNC Turner Supervisor to help lead day-to-day operations on the shop floor. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the machine shop, working closely with the team while receiving structured training to develop your supervisory skills. This is a Monday to Friday, days-based position with genuine routes to progress further as the business continues to grow. This role would suit an experienced CNC Turner, CNC Machinist or aspiring Supervisor looking to progress into leadership with a secure company that will invest in their development and offer clear future progression opportunities. The Role:

    Monday to Friday, days-based role with industry-leading training in supervision and leadership
