How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Graduate Aspiring Autism, Psychology & ADHD Learning Support Assistant

    Are you a Psychology graduate or aspiring educational professional looking to gain hands-on experience supporting children with Autism and ADHD?
    A forward-thinking and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a motivated Graduate Aspiring Autism, Psychology & ADHD Learning Support Assistant to join their dedicated SEND team. This role is ideal for graduates considering careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Child Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Teaching, or Mental Health Support.
    This rewarding opportunity will provide invaluable experience working directly with pupils who require additional support to access learning and reach their full potential.

    The Role

    As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will:

    Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, and associated learning needs.
    Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in classroom activities.
    Support the development of communication, social interaction, attention, and emotional regulation skills.
    Implement strategies recommended by the SENCO and external professionals.
    Help create a structured, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
    Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learning.
    Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers and support staff.
    Support intervention programmes designed to improve academic and social outcomes.The Ideal Candidate

    We are looking for graduates who:

    Hold a degree in Psychology, Education, Criminology, Sociology, Health & Social Care, or a related field.
    Have a genuine interest in Autism, ADHD, child development, and special educational needs.
    Are considering a future career in psychology, therapy, teaching, or education.
    Demonstrate patience, resilience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
    Have experience working with children or young people through tutoring, mentoring, youth work, sports coaching, voluntary work, or educational settings.Previous experience supporting Autism or ADHD is beneficial but not essential.
