Lock Global is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Head Chef to join a busy hotel located on the beautiful Isle of Cumbrae (Millport).

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and passionate chef looking for a lifestyle change, with free accommodation included and the chance to lead a kitchen in one of Scotland's most scenic island locations.

🔹 Position Details

Role: Head Chef

Location: Millport, Isle of Cumbrae

Salary: £34,000 per annum

Accommodation: Free accommodation provided

Contract: Full-time, permanent position

🔹 Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team

Develop and maintain high food standards

Manage stock control and food costs

Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations

Create seasonal menus and daily specials

Train and develop junior kitchen staff

🔹 Requirements

Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef ready to step up

Strong leadership and organisational skills

Experience in a hotel or busy hospitality environment

Passion for quality food and customer service

Food hygiene certification preferred
