How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Location: North West / Hybrid

    Travel: Regular UK travel across operational sites, with possible international travel including European office collaboration and selected customer, distributor and industry events.

    This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating momentum, introducing structure and delivering measurable outcomes within a growing business environment.

    The business operates across a mix of direct sales, international distributor networks and OEM partnerships depending on product category and market.
    You will support both direct commercial teams and indirect channel partners, helping improve visibility, execution and consistency across multiple routes to market.
    The role offers broad exposure across international markets and commercial environments without extensive travel.

    To support delivery of the Group’s commercial growth strategy by improving campaign execution, sales enablement, commercial coordination and pipeline effectiveness.
    Acting as the bridge between strategy and delivery, you will help ensure commercial activity becomes increasingly structured, measurable and scalable.

    Sales Support: 

    Develop commercially effective sales collateral, presentations, case studies and proposal materials
    Coordinate technical sales tools and customer-facing product materials
    Improve distributor and partner enablement through structured communications and support resources
    Work with technical and commercial teams to strengthen customer messaging and positioning
    Develop value propositions focused on customer outcomes and commercial impact
    Campaing Generation:

    Coordinate and execute targeted campaigns aligned to business priorities
    Support product launches, exhibitions, webinars and partner initiatives
    Deliver campaigns across digital channels including email, LinkedIn and websites
    Improve inbound lead quality and conversion effectiveness
    Support website optimisation and digital performance improvements
    Revenue and Operations: 

    Improve CRM adoption, reporting and pipeline visibility
    Support structured sales processes and commercial governance
    Coordinate lead management and campaign performance tracking
    Support leadership teams with commercial consistency and accountability
    Drive insight gathering and competitor monitoring
    Help establish repeatable commercial workflows and processes
    Product and Technical Marketing:

    Support development of technical and customer-facing content
    Translate complex information into commercially effective messaging
    Develop case studies, proof points and product positioning materials
    Support launch activity and go-to-market execution
    Agency and Stakeholder:

    Coordinate external partners and agencies
    Build effective relationships across technical, operational and commercial teams
    Support cross-functional commercial projects and business initiatives
      Essential Experience:

    5–10 years’ experience in B2B commercial marketing, sales enablement, commercial operations or similar
    Experience within engineering, manufacturing, industrial, technical or scientific environments
    Strong commercial mindset with exposure to pipeline growth and commercial execution
    Experience coordinating campaigns and commercial improvement initiatives
    Experience working across multiple stakeholders and priorities
    CRM and reporting experience
    Comfortable operating within growing or evolving organisations
    Desirable Experience:

    Engineering, industrial equipment, technical products or instrumentation sectors
    International and distributor-led environments
    Product marketing or commercial enablement experience
    Commercial operations or process improvement exposure
    Experience within acquisitive or growth-focused businesses

    Commercially minded and outcome focused
