How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Graduate Teaching Assistant: Numeracy Support

    An outstanding secondary school in Ealing is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN / Graduate Teaching Assistant to provide specialist numeracy support from September 2026. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a passionate Mathematics or STEM graduate/ Numeracy Teaching Assistant, or experienced Learning Support Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact on the progress of students.

    As a SEN Teaching Assistant within this highly successful inclusion department, you will work closely with students who require additional support in Mathematics. The successful candidate will deliver targeted Maths intervention, helping pupils develop core numeracy skills, improve mathematical reasoning, and build the confidence needed to achieve success across the curriculum.

    The Role: Graduate Teaching Assistant - Numeracy Support in Ealing

    As a Numeracy Support Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in raising attainment and supporting student achievement across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Delivering targeted numeracy interventions and Maths support sessions.
    Providing one-to-one and small-group support for students with SEN and SEND.
    Supporting students preparing for GCSE Mathematics examinations.
    Reinforcing key mathematical concepts, problem-solving skills, and numerical reasoning.
    Working alongside Mathematics teachers to adapt resources and learning activities.
    Supporting students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
    Monitoring progress and contributing to intervention strategies.
    Encouraging student confidence, resilience, and independence in learning.This role would suit a Maths Teaching Assistant, SEN Learning Support Assistant, or graduate seeking valuable school-based experience before progressing into teaching, educational psychology, or wider SEND careers.

    Candidates with degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Psychology, or Education are particularly encouraged to apply, although graduates from all disciplines with strong numeracy skills will be considered.
