How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Minor Works Manager / Multi-Trade Supervisor

    📍 Kent (Head Office Based)
    💰 £40,000–£55,000 DOE + Package

    About the Role

    We're working with a well-established roofing and building services contractor with over 25 years of industry experience to recruit a hands-on Minor Works Manager / Multi-Trade Supervisor.

    This role is ideal for someone from a roofing, drainage, reactive maintenance background who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day running of projects rather than sitting behind a desk managing large teams.

    You'll work closely with the business owner, overseeing reactive maintenance, minor works and small projects from enquiry through to completion, ensuring jobs are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.

    The Role

    *

    Office-based with regular site visits as required

    *

    Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00

    *

    Managing a busy pipeline of reactive maintenance and minor works projects

    Key Responsibilities

    *

    Managing day-to-day delivery of reactive and minor works projects

    *

    Surveying and scoping works

    *

    Producing estimates, quotations and costings

    *

    Monitoring project progress from enquiry through to completion

    *

    Maintaining strong client relationships

    *

    Supporting operational administration and job management

    *

    Conducting site visits and quality inspections

    *
