How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Act as the first point of contact for all Bill of Materials (BOM) queries, providing timely and accurate support

    * Create new part codes, ensuring all required fields are completed correctly and in accordance with company standards

    * Create, manage, and maintain standard sub‑assemblies within the IFS system

    * Maintain accurate document links and associations to parts and sub‑assemblies within the system

    * Release shop orders in line with weekly production forecasts and programme requirements

    * Support general system and data housekeeping to maintain accuracy and integrity

    * Attend and actively contribute to daily and weekly project and production meetings

    * Liaise closely with the Factory to manage shortages, deliveries, and changing demand

    * Build and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships across the wider Premier family

    Qualifications

    * GCSEs (or equivalent) at minimum, including Mathematics and English

    * Ability to accurately quantify and schedule materials from construction and manufacturing drawings

    * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, for data analysis and reporting

    * Strong work ethic with a proactive, positive, and approachable attitude

    * Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing workload and time to meet production deadlines

    * High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in material schedules and system data

    * Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal

    * Willingness to develop skills in reading design and technical drawings and undertaking material take‑offs

    * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi‑disciplinary team

    Benefits:

    30k 6 month contract

    * On-site parking

    * Must have car due to location
