How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

About our Client - A luxury high-end interior design and architecture studio recognised for delivering refined, design‑led residential projects across the UK and internationally. Our work spans the full design journey, from early concept development through to final installation, with a strong focus on craftsmanship, detail and beautifully resolved interiors.

The Role We’re looking for an experienced Senior FF&E Designer to join our Nationwide Recruitment Services' (NRS) growing team. You’ll take the lead on luxury residential projects, working closely with senior leadership to shape schemes, guide clients and ensure every detail is executed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities • Lead FF&E design packages from concept through to completion • Create mood boards, sample presentations and client‑ready design packs • Source and specify furniture, lighting, finishes, accessories and artwork • Produce clear 2D layouts and internal elevations for FF&E areas • Manage FF&E schedules, budgets and procurement documentation • Oversee procurement, including POs, quotations, invoicing and VAT collation • Liaise with suppliers, makers and artisans on bespoke furniture and custom pieces • Collaborate with architects, project managers and consultants to integrate FF&E • Attend site and workshop visits; oversee installation to ensure design intent is met • Stay up to date with new materials, products, suppliers and industry innovations

About You • Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or similar • 6+ years’ experience in FF&E, ideally within high‑end residential design • Strong portfolio showcasing luxury FF&E and bespoke furniture design • Excellent knowledge of furniture, lighting, textiles, finishes and specialist makers • Proficient in AutoCAD, Estimac and Microsoft Office • Strong organisational and project management skills • Confident communicator with polished client‑facing presentation skills • Exceptional attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation • Able to work independently while contributing positively to a small, collaborative team
